A year before my wedding date I was scrolling through my instagram feed looking at wedding ideas, when I came across Leah DaGloria's page and this dress caught my eye! I saved the picture immediately, and said, THIS IS MY DRESS!! It's crazy, to say I didn't continue looking at other dresses, nor did I try on any dress.. My mind was set, and I had to have it one way or another. I emailed Leah DeGloria - and she stated that, that specific dress was custom made and it cost about $14,000 to re-make. Now I didn't have that kind of money, so I searched, called, visited, and emailed about 35 tailors asking if they can re-create such dress. I finally came across a seamstress that custom made beautiful wedding dresses in Kansas CIty, after many emails, and measurements sent, I decided to fly out from NY to visit her for my first fitting. We then hand-picked fabric and lace, tulle, and sketched out the every detail of the dress. Months of waiting and a couple more visits My dress was ready to come home. Putting on this dress, I cried because, it was exactly what I envisioned and saw in that first instagram picture - it was everything and more than what I expected. The dress truly makes you feel one of kind, not to mention the 8foot train which is deatchable. To say the least, I've been married 2 months and everyone still talks about how beautiful my dress and train was. I can only hope someone else can feel the same way in that dress...
