This is a truly stunning Monique Lhullier 1920's-style slip dress, super slinky, simple and classic. Made of 100% silk charmeuse and lined, it's the perfect dress if you're looking for comfort and ease of movement. It was made to order and has no size tag, but I'm a size 6 and it fits like it was poured on. My bra size is 34B, but the bust area actually has a little bit of room if your cup size is a little bigger. Any smaller and you'd have to have it taken in. There is a 3" band right under the bust and the rest flows down from there. From the bottom of the band down is about 54" and the back has a baby train that goes about 60". There's also a hook underneath for the train if you want to bustle it up, at which point it all becomes the same length.
I purchased this dress in 2003 at the Monique Lhuillier store in Beverly Hills, wore it for about six hours and it's been hanging in my closet ever since. It's been professionally dry cleaned and there are no stains or marks anywhere. It really is amazing but it's time to let it go!
