This is an authentic Vera Wang wedding dress from her fall 2011 bridal collection, a lovely french tulle and silk organza gown with amazing lines and intricate seam details. It has a modern yet dreamy fit and flare silhouette with stunning details in the bodice. The sweetheart neckline is enhanced with an illusion drape over the shoulders, and the back of the dress offers plenty of drama as french tulle cascades and billows to the floor and extends in a lovely chapel train.
This dress is a sample with original tags from Saks, and was never worn to an event. I purchased the dress from the original owner and would have worn the dress myself, but decided to go in a different direction in terms of styling.
Notes:
- The dress pictured is the dress for sale. I took great care to provide detailed photos of the dress to show the fit and the condition as accurately as possible. I can provide higher resolution photos that show more detail--message me if you'd like to see them!
- The cap sleeve for the right shoulder can be worn up, down, or tucked into the dress to create a unique and flattering one shoulder look.
- There are some imperfections below the knee and near the hem of the dress, where the tulle was pulled and/or snagged during try-ons. Despite these imperfections, the dress is a stunner and the hemline of the dress photographs so well it's hard to notice them!
- The dress and sash are being sold together given the pictured sash is the perfect compliment for the dress. The sash is also by Vera Wang with original tags from Saks and in new condition (original price was $595 USD).
- The dress is hanging in a breathable garment bag in my closet to keep the fabric in the best condition possible.
