The color is Alabaster and "feels" ivory but unlike ivory shades, it makes my pink skin look warm. The details and construction of this garment are so much more than the $900-$1500 gowns I had been looking at. I decided to take a chance and order it from a salon that was selling it at a reduced price. Seriously, when I saw this dress in person, I cried. I only regret that I was unable to lose weight to fit into it, but that's my problem, not yours.
This dress photographs beautifully. The designer did not skimp. This dress is beautiful from every angle. It LOOKS expensive and is very well made. It doesn't look like everyone else's dress. I would love for someone to have a beautiful day in this beautiful dress. This dress has never been worn or altered for any event, try-on only and it is in truly excellent condition. It just needs some steaming.
Here is a description from, I think, the designer: Paris satin is shown off in all its glory in this slim A-line signature Sophia Tolli gown, Zola. Guipure lace and distinctive couture inspired asymmetric draping highlights the bust and sweetheart neckline. Matching Guipure lace lightly dusted with hand-beading and crystals continues down the side of bodice and accentuates the stunning cut of this gown. Zola features a wonderfully pleated skirt that sweeps into a chapel length train. A functional corset back finishes this classic look. Removable straps included. Neck accessory sold separately as AY010.
