This Mori Lee gown is brand new and still has the tags on from the bridal boutique where we bought it. The fit and flare / trumpet / mermaid shape makes it very flattering, while the all-over alencon lace makes it classy and elegant. The beaded necklines (both front and back) add a touch of sparkle without being over the top. The flare at the bottom is made of a soft tulle, and the dress has a built in crinoline petticoat.

While the tag says size 10, this is more suited for a size 6 or maybe even a 4. Based on the style and fabric, we believe alterations should be less expensive than dresses that have lace around the bottom edge and/or more beading around the bodice. The top loop of elastic is a bit stretched out - though it is easily fixable there is a hook and eye immediately above it, so it is not really needed.

My daughter fell in love with this but after speaking to members of her church community she feels it would be more appropriate to wear a style which has more coverage on the chest, back and shoulders. She is petite and usually wears a size 4, yet would not need many alterations to fit in this dress.
